What is the percent of total pricing in Salesforce CPQ?

In Salesforce CPQ, "Percent of Total" pricing is a feature that allows you to set a product's list price as a percentage of the total price of another group of products, a quote line group, or the entire quote itself. It's essentially a dynamic pricing mechanism based on other products or the overall quote value.

How to setup the percent of total pricing?

1. Click on App Launcher → Product → New and fill these fields:

and click Save.

2. Click on the Related tab, go to Price Book, and click on Add Standard Price.

3. In List Price, enter 200 and click Save.

4. Let's check it out in the quote line editor.

5. Open your quotes and click on Edit Lines.

6. Click on Add Products, select a mouse, and select one more product.

7. Now, you can see that the NET TOTAL price of the mouse product is 10% of another product.
